Jeanne Allen, MSW, C-CATODSW
Jeanne Allen, LICSW, C-CATODSW earned a BA in Psychology from the University of West Florida and an MSW from the University of Connecticut. Jeanne’s professional experience includes clinical work in Employee Assistance Program, outpatient mental health centers, and private practice. She became a partner at Exeter Counseling Center in 1994. In addition to maintaining a private practice, she is a training consultant to corporations. schools, hospitals, and other community organizations.
Jeanne works with adults and couples suffering from addiction, trauma and mood disorders to help them reclaim their lives. She is committed to showing up with compassion and commitment to listen to her clients and learn who they are and what they want to accomplish. She works to help clients identify and change their constructs about themselves, develop self-empathy and learn new skills to reach their goals.
Jeanne offers telehealth sessions to clients who may have barriers (such as time, transportation, accessibility) to meeting in her office.
Jeanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Hampshire and a nationally Certified Clinical Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Social Worker (C-CATODSW). She is a Level II trained EMDR practitioner. She is a member of the National Academy of Social Workers.
