Jill Nooney, MSW, LICSW
Jill Nooney, MSW, earned her undergraduate degree from Bennington College and her Master of Social Work from Smith College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NH, #37.
After working in an emergency walk-in clinic setting at the former Dartmouth-Hitchcock Mental Heath Center in Hanover, NH, she worked as lead counselor at the Phillips Exeter Academy treating students, developing a faculty support network, leading educational seminars for the faculty and heading a conference for women educators in private schools. She left the Phillips Exeter Academy to start the Exeter Counseling Center, in 1987.
Jill works with adults, couples and families. Her approach is eclectic, using psychodynamic theory along with a practical here-and-now approach to help people make concrete changes in their lives. She has deep respect for people who want to take the time and effort to invest in a more fulfilling life and feels honored to be a small part of that process.
She typically works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7am to 6pm.
